Today we are proud to launch our brand new GECKO Places map! On Googles Maps Online Service, you can see each and every location that GECKO has visited since March 2008. It's a comvenient way to visualize GECKO's activities. On the map, just click on the placemarks, and a window will pop up, with a short description, picture, and link to the longer report on our blog.

It's the start of a new semester at Chinese universities, and GECKO
will be there. We have set up partnerships with AIESEC student clubs in eight
Chinese cities: Chengdu, Nanjing, Guangzhuo, Ningbo, Dalian, Tianjin,
Shanghai, and Beijing.
The new partnerships have been formed as a result of a selection
process, based on project plans that every club submitted. The
application details included a implementation plan, timeline, and
budget.
The selected clubs will receive a bundle of benefits from Greennovate
in support of their project. We will visit them in their city, do

Over the past two months, five international students did their best to spread the message of GECKO in Shanghai. All in all, Sarah Heymans, Peter Seraganian, Lim Gene Harn, Lau Guey Ai and Ramona Chia reached out to more than 2300 students at four different schools. Since they sent us detailed feedback about their classes, we want to share their insights:

We at Greennovate are fortunate to have a large number of supporters. Last week, our friends from Fudan University especially impressed us! They had approached Greennovate to to ask for a contribution towards one of their activities. We were happy to donate 200 Reuse bags for their one-day fundraiser. These fashionable bags were to be sold by teams of students all over Shanghai, thus turning this fundraising activity into a business competition for the AIESEC students.
