Before we arrived in the first school there, we had made all kinds of preparations. Yet still I was filled with nervousness and excitement. James was the first to give presentation that day and the kids there loved Greenovate’s course so much and you can see how interested and concentrated they were in the pictures. Then the others members of our team give our presentations one by one talking about some English words in relation with environment protection and pollution, and also how to protect the environment of our mother land and our planet. Everything went so well that at last the kids were so reluctant to see us leaving. They told us they really learned a lot and happily shared their dreams with us.
As a member of the team, I must say that I’ve learned a lot of things different from what I’ve learned on campus. I am negotiating an idea that I should do more to our environment and the kids suffering from poverty and lack of education. We gave the students some envelopes with our names and addresses on it, so that even though we have left, they can keep contact with us.
