Since 2009, Greennovate has been cooperating with AIESEC, the world’s largest student-run organization with over 35,000 members in 107 different countries, to develop their sustainability projects and help us spread our existing initiatives – GECKO and MaGiC (Made Green in China).
Through our partnership, we have brought GECKO to several universities and AIESEC conferences around China, offering facilitators and tools for university students to learn about sustainability, green design, and personal solutions to the environmental challenges we face.
In September 2010,we have set up partnerships with AIESEC student clubs in eight
Chinese cities: Chengdu, Nanjing, Guangzhuo, Ningbo, Dalian, Tianjin, Shanghai, and Beijing.
The new partnerships have been formed as a result of a selection
process, based on project plans that every club submitted. The
application details included a implementation plan, timeline, and
budget.
The selected clubs will receive a bundle of benefits from Greennovate
in support of their project. We will visit them in their city, do
environmental awareness trainings and networking events with them, and
give them continuous project management support.
In exchange, all clubs committed to recruit volunteers for GECKO, and
to give environmental education classes to up to 3000 people.

Starting in October 2009, Greennovate has teamed up with AIESEC, the world’s largest student-run organization with over 35,000 members in 107 different countries, to develop their Green Power Now Program and help us spread our existing initiatives – GECKO and MaGiC (Made Green in China).
Through our partnership, we have brought our MaGiC Tour to several universities and regional AIESEC conferences around China, offering facilitators and tools for university students to learn about sustainability, green design, and personal solutions to the environmental challenges we face.
Greennovate has also involved several international AIESEC volunteers in our Greennovate Train the Trainer Program, training them to use our professionally developed materials to deliver environmental sessions and workshops to Shanghai high school students. Most notably, Thomas Bley of Germany and Calvin Duong of Canada have received overwhelmingly positive feedback from over 350 students at 3 high schools. Special Thanks to Calvin and Tom.
