Our e-learning platform on sustainability came in second for the 2011 Multimedia Projects for Environmental Conservation Award, under the Ford Conservation & Environmental Grants, China (CEGC) for our abbreviated 3-minute version of Lessons from the Past animated video about Easter Island and how its historical environmental collapse points to parallels in our world today.

We are extremely happy about this recent achievement with Ford as it is not only symbolic of GECKO Online heading in the right direction, but makes us hopeful of social media being instrumental in helping the platform gain a greater online presence and reach a wider and diversified audience to engage with communities within and beyond China!
