GECKO and AIESEC are partnering to provide exciting internship and project opportunities for members!

Since 2009, we are working with AIESEC LCs around China to support their green project. For the wintersemester 2009/10, we set up exclusive partnerships with AIESEC in Chengdu, Nanjing, Guangzhuo, Ningbo, Dalian, Tianjin,
Shanghai, and Beijing.

LCs in these cities have passed our selection process, which includes submittal of an implementation plan, a timeline, and
budget for their project. The selected clubs are receiving a bundle of benefits from Greennovate in support of their project. We are sending a team to their city to visit them, do environmental awareness trainings and networking events with them, and
give them continuous project management support. In exchange, all clubs committed to recruit volunteers for GECKO, and
to give environmental education classes to up to 3000 people.

All supported LCs have the chance to participate in our ‘GreenCup’ competition, which will be held in spring 2011. See the report of the previous GreenCup here!
