Morgan Parker

Morgan Parker is a real estate CEO turned motorcycle philanthropist, who rode 25,000 km through 10 Asian countries in 3 months to visit numerous grassroots charitable organizations, ultimately selecting one cause per country to support, one of which was Greennovate’s GECKO Online initiative. Wheel2Wheel is the culmination of Morgan’s charitable efforts – a Hong Kong-based non-profit organization that harnesses the support and power of the mass media to raise awareness on the key social, environmental and humanitarian issues facing the Asia Pacific region. Originally from Australia, Morgan graduated from the International Institute for Management Development and has an extensive corporate background in Asia having lived and worked in six countries since 1995. As a senior executive with some of the world’s leading investment banks and real estate companies, he has also served on several industry boards and advisory committees. 2 years ago, he resigned from his position at Taubman Asia (which he founded) to go full speed with Wheel2Wheel. Morgan’s experience in Asia has shown him the world in extreme excess, but through Wheel2Wheel, he’s channelling his obsession into inspiring others to design their own ‘charitable self’, thus creating a new paradigm for community endeavour. As father of 8 year old Aria, Morgan’s greatest concern is her future and that of her planet.

Amena Lee Schlaikjer

Amena moved to different cities in Asia and Europe every 2-3 years since birth under the guise of an American passport, 20 of those years being in China. She combined her studies in Asian Economics and Fashion Merchandising from Columbia and F.I.T to build an expertise in the Health/Beauty/Lifestyle sectors that led her launching Vogue, M.A.C and Zagat Survey in Shanghai.  Being lured by people's behaviours, she moved into the innovation world to help open ?Whatif!'s first China office and growing the team to 20 people.  She has since moved on to start her own initiative called THE WELLNESS WORKS, crafting ideas and events that inspire others towards healthier living.  She is the acting Shanghai manager of Asia-Pacific LOHAS where she gets much of her research and works with several creative teams on ad hoc projects that colour the world of wellness; be it lifestyle, hospitality, travel, food, entertainment or giving back to society.  It was during this time that she came across Greennovate and felt synergies in the creative and generous spirit of the team.  She hopes to support the foundation to help raise awareness about general well-being through the importance of environmental health and work on building awareness for this engaging and highly accessible educational platform.
