Mihela introduces the GECKO program
Last Friday in our green office was the second installment of our “Seeds for Sustainability” training program for Chinese and foreign university students! Before launching the program late last month, we had long been hoping to provide our GECKO volunteer trainers with greater, more in-depth knowledge of ecology and sustainability.
The program gives trainers a big-picture understanding of sustainability, empowering them with greater flexibility and confidence in teaching and providing them with valuable insights to be taken into your future careers. The weekly Friday-afternoon lectures include topics such as “Planning for sustainability,” “Ecosystem Services,” and “Population and Resources Demand.”
