GECKO Volunteer Flora Lan presents at Paitou Middle School
It was a cold, yet exciting couple of days atop the snowy Mogan mountain in Zhejiang province early this week! We were thrilled to have a large team, including our interns and volunteers, bring a special GECKO program to 120 students at Paitou and Mogan Shan Middle Schools. The winter weather proved challenging – forcing us to make some last minute changes of plan – but the program was a great success and a lot of fun!
This was the second time our team has visited Mogan Shan, both times cooperating with the eco-resort naked Retreats. Our partnership will continue to run throughout March and April as part of naked’s Green Initiative Month, with the goal out to over 1,000 middle and high school students!
