GECKO’s Train the Trainer program is starting to spread over China! This past weekend we trained a group of AIESEC members in Beijing. Coming from all over the world – Brazil, Poland, Indonesia, Netherlands, Canada, and Kazakhstan – they are going to teach sustainability and raise environmental awareness at Beijing high schools over the coming weeks.

The trip to Beijing is part of GECKOs effort to extend the reach of the program. We also had very fruitful meetings with AIESEC representatives from Tsinghua and Renmin Universities, which will run the program in their local clubs, thusly establishing the first GECKO trainer base outside Shanghai. Congratulations to all participants! We are excited to hear results from our newly minted Beijing GECKO trainers.
